Dr. Corey P. Falcon received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Following this, he completed his internship and residency in pediatrics at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in San Antonio, Texas. He completed his fellowship in pediatric hematology and oncology at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB).
Dr. Falcon is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology. He has been on staff at Ochsner since March 2020 and practicing medicine since 2008.
Dr. Falcon’s expertise is in benign hematology to include sickle cell disease and hemophilia, as well as oncology. His special interests include neuro-oncology, stem cell transplantation, leukemia, and lymphoma. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, playing sports, cycling, and fishing.
