Courtney Bozant, NP, is a hematology oncology nurse practitioner at Ochsner Health, where she provides compassionate, comprehensive care to patients navigating cancer diagnoses and blood disorders. She is dedicated to disease prevention, health promotion and supporting patients through every stage of their treatment journey.

Courtney earned both her Master of Science in nursing – family nurse practitioner and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She graduated magna cum laude and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Courtney’s background includes experience in urgent care, interventional radiology and acute surgical nursing. In these roles, she developed a strong foundation in managing acute and chronic conditions, performing detailed assessments, and delivering patient-centered care. Her clinical training also includes women's health, pediatrics, adult and geriatric medicine.

Courtney is passionate about helping patients understand their conditions and empowering them to participate actively in their care. She brings a team-based, thoughtful approach to hematology and oncology, ensuring each patient receives personalized, high-quality care. Outside of medicine, Courtney enjoys spending time with her husband and goldendoodle, Piper. She has a passion for traveling to new places and participating in outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking.
