Dr. Effie Branton received her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans and completed her residency at Louisiana State University Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge. Dr. Branton is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and she has been on staff at Ochsner since October 2020.
