Ernest Rudman, MD, is a radiologist at Ochsner Health. Dr. Ernest Rudman graduated magna cum laude from Boston University College of Arts and Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and completed an internship at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Dr. Rudman completed his radiology residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He then completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School in Boston. Dr. Rudman is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and is a member of Society of Skeletal Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Radiologic Society of North America, and American College of Radiology.

Dr. Rudman has been caring for the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans since 2012 as well as for the local collegiate and younger athletes. His professional interest include sports injuries, arthritis and musculoskeletal tumors. His other area of expertise is body imaging, where he is particularly interested in metabolic and neoplastic diseases of the liver as well as benign and malignant diseases of the prostate. He is section head of Musculoskeletal Radiology and particularly enjoys training new residents and fellows.
