Fadi Hawawini, DO

Dr. Hawawini received his degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. He completed his internship at St. Vincent Midtown Hospital in New York and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Subsequent to completion of his Ochsner residency in Internal Medicine in 2007 he was appointed to staff. Dr. Hawawini obtained his CMD, Certified Medical Director, from American Board of Post-Acute and Long term Care Medicine. He served as the medical director for Ochsner Skilled Nursing Facility from 2008 through 2015 and for Ochsner Extended Care Hospital from 2011 until 2017. Dr. Hawawini Obtained a Master of Business Administration -MBA in Medical Management from Isenberg School of Management University of Massachusetts and also has a health IT leadership certificate from ACPE.
