Jane Martin, MD, is a maternal fetal physician at Ochsner Health who sees patients at Ochsner Baptist Women’s Pavilion in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Martin is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in obstetrics, gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. Her special interests include management of placenta accreta spectrum disorder (when the placenta attaches too deeply into the uterine wall), cardio-obstetrics, multifetal gestation and preventing severe maternal morbidity and mortality.

Dr. Martin received her medical degree from Tulane University and completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. She practiced as a general obstetrician for two years prior to completing fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at Ochsner Health. She serves on the Louisiana maternal mortality review committee and the Louisiana perinatal quality collaborative. As the state legislative chair for the Louisiana section of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine's Health Policy and Advocacy Committee, Dr. Martin is invested in impacting women's health policy on the state and federal level. Dr. Martin enjoys collaborating with her patients and other healthcare providers to ensure a healthy and safe delivery for moms and babies.
