Jeffrey Kuo, MD, MMM, practices emergency medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Jeffrey Kuo is a board certified Emergency Medicine physician and has worked at Ochsner Health since 2008. He earned his medical degree in 2004 from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 2008. At Ochsner Health, Dr. Kuo serves as the System Chair of Patient Flow and EMS and the System Medical Director of Emergency Management and Security. He also leads the telehealth program for the Emergency Medicine system service line, is the Medical Director of Corporate Wellness in Mississippi, and is the founder of the Asian-American and Pacific Islander employee resource group. Since 2009, Dr. Kuo has been the on-field Airway Management and Emergency Response Physician for the New Orleans Saints of the NFL and is the medical director of multiple music festivals in the New Orleans area. In 2022, he completed his second term on the Louisiana Bureau of EMS Commission and previously held leadership roles as the Medical Director of Ochsner Flight Care and St. Charles Parish EMS.
