A board-certified otolaryngologist and fellowship-trained laryngologist, Dr. Marino specializes in the comprehensive management of voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. He manages voice disorders in professionals ranging from singers, actors, and other vocal performers to attorneys, teachers, and clergy. Dr. Marino’s expertise also includes phonomicrosurgery for benign and malignant laryngeal lesions, laryngeal framework surgery, diagnostic laryngeal electromyography, laryngeal botulinum toxin injection, airway reconstruction, and repair of Zenker’s diverticulum. A particular interest of his is the expanding range of laryngeal procedures which are performed in the office without the need for general anesthesia, including laryngeal laser surgery, vocal fold injection, and transnasal esophagoscopy. At the Ochsner Voice Center, he works closely with a speech-language pathologist to provide optimal care for patients with laryngeal disorders.
