Biography

Jennifer McGee, MD, practices general surgery at Ochsner Health. Dr. McGee has expertise in general surgery, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques. Dr. McGee offers comprehensive care for various general surgery conditions, including gallbladder disease, hernias, benign soft tissue masses, wound care and access for hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.

Dr. McGee completed her surgical training at Tulane University and is dedicated to addressing the surgical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Dr. McGee joined Ochsner in October 2025. Outside of medicine, she is an avid runner. Dr. McGee also speaks beginner level French.
