Dr. Mouledoux received her doctor of medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She completed a pediatrics residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and fellowships in pediatric cardiology and advanced imaging with focus on fetal cardiology and cardiac MRI at Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Mouledoux is the medical director of Ochsner's echocardiography laboratory, which is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for pediatric transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal cardiology and fetal echocardiography.
Her special interests are fetal cardiology, single ventricle congenital heart disease and congenital cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
Dr. Mouledoux directs the Single Ventricle Clinic for interstage monitoring of infants with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and other forms of single ventricle heart disease. She is a site co-investigator in the Phase IIb Efficacy Study of Umbilical Cord Blood Mononuclear Cell Intramyocardial Injection for Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and HLHS Variants trial.
Dr. Mouledoux is a member of the following professional organizations: American Academy of Pediatrics, American Society of Echocardiography and the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance.
