Biography

Dr. Joseph Hajjar graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University and attended the University of Florida College of Medicine. He completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (Parkland Hospital) in 1996 and an additional year of fellowship training in diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, Mammography and Ultrasound). Dr. Hajjar is board certified in Radiology and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2004. Dr. Hajjar also serves as Associate Chief Medical Information Office for Imaging Informatics. He served in various North Shore Physician Leadership roles as well as Vice Chair of Radiology for Ochsner Health.
