Biography
Dr. Tarsia takes an active role in the cerebrovascular education curriculum of the Ochsner Neurology Residency Program. He is also the program director of the Vascular Neurology Fellowship Program. Dr. Tarsia directs the Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy Clinic - a multidisciplinary clinic collaborating directly with our Cognitive/Behavioral Neurology team that cares specifically for patients suffering with this disease.
His clinical interests include CAA (Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy), inflammatory CAA (CAA-ri), ARIA (Amyloid related imaging abnormalities), hypertensive arteriopathy and chronic cerebral microvascular disease / small vessel ischemic disease and brain hemorrhage.
