Joshua Vallelungo, MD, specializes in urgent care at Ochsner Health. Dr. Joshua Vallelungo is a 1998 graduate of Jesuit High School in New Orleans. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University. He graduated from medical school at LSU School of Medicine New Orleans in 2010, and he completed residency with LSU Rural Family Medicine program in 2013. He is board-certified with American Board of Family Medicine. He performs urgent care and occupational medicine services. Dr. Vallelungo serves as a Medical Review Officer and has the designation of being a U.S. Civil Surgeon. He has been the medical director of Ochsner's Northshore urgent care clinics since 2015.
