Dr. Kamill Del Toro earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico. Following graduation, she moved to New Orleans to complete her pediatric residency through the combined Tulane, Ochsner, and University Medical Center training program. She was a pediatric hospitalist and emergency room physician for four years before completing a pediatric cardiology fellowship at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Del Toro specializes in pediatric cardiology, and her areas of interest include acute care inpatient cardiology, Kawasaki disease, and caring for patients with multiple congenital anomalies. She is fluent in Spanish. She is currently the principal investigator in two international clinical trials, one for novel anticoagulant use in patients with congenital heart disease and one evaluating the different therapies in fetal tachyarrhythmias.

A lifelong sports fan, Dr. Del Toro is a Saint's season ticket holder and loves anything related to the Olympics.
