Katherine Dyer, MD, specializes in hospital medicine at Ochsner Health in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana. Dr. Dyer has expertise in care of acutely ill patients as well as general medical practice and reproductive healthcare through her training in family medicine. She earned her degree in medicine from the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle in 2019. She completed her family medicine residency at Contra Costa Family Medicine Residency Program in Martinez, California, with a focus on providing comprehensive, equitable patient care throughout the lifecycle to underserved populations. She is board-certified in family medicine by the American Academy of Family Physicians in 2026.

Dr. Dyer is dedicated to managing the acute medical needs of her patients in the hospital setting while also acknowledging and addressing their individual strengths and challenges and the way they contribute to their health journey. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2026. She is grateful for the opportunity to provide care in a tight-knit community setting while still having access to the resources of a large healthcare system. Outside of medicine, Dr. Dyer enjoys cooking and exploring the incredible Louisiana food scene, attending live music performances and scuba diving with her partner.
