Katherine received a master of science degree in physician assistant studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. While in training, she completed clinical rotations in internal medicine, pediatrics, general surgery, family medicine, emergency medicine, endocrinology and obstetrics and gynecology.

Katherine is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Association of Family Practice Physician Assistants and the Society of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants.
