Biography
Dr. Klaus Friedrich Koelbel received his medical degree from the University of Ulm Faculty of Medicine in Germany. Following this, he completed his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans.
Dr. Koelbel is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board. Dr. Koelbel’s expertise is in hospital medicine, hospice, and palliative care. He currently practices at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans in the Department of Palliative Care.
