Dr. Lalania Schexnayder received her undergraduate degree in at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She went on earn her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in May 2001. She is board certified in neurology with special qualification in child neurology.She completed her residency in pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine in June 2003. She went on to complete her residency in adult neurology at Baylor College of Medicine in June 2004 and her child neurology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in June 2006. She is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, American Academy of Neurology, and Child Neurology Society. She was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
