Biography
Leah McMorris, PA-C, practices palliative medicine at Ochsner Health, where she is committed to delivering compassionate care and expert symptom management for patients facing serious, life‑limiting illnesses. Drawing on her extensive background in urgent care and emergency medicine, Leah brings a unique blend of acute care experience and a holistic approach to patient support.
Leah earned her Master of Medical Science in physician associate studies from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and her Master of Science in counseling psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. She is an active member of both the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
As a dedicated member of the Ochsner team, Leah ensures each patient receives care that honors their unique needs and life goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling including mission trips, SCUBA diving, photography, playing sports (soccer, pickleball) and being involved in a local church.
