He continued his education and earned his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, receiving the Consummate Physician Award from the prestigious Canby Robinson Society. Dr. Montgomery completed his training as an intern and resident in family medicine at Florida Hospital, then the largest hospital in the state.
Dr. Montgomery has expertise in chronic conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart and lung disease. His special interests include LGBTQ+ healthcare, healthcare technology, and treating mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
