Biography
Dr. Lisa Bernhard, a New Orleans native, earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. She then completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency followed by a medical genetics fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Bernhard practiced in St. Louis for 30 years before returning to Louisiana. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a member of several organizations such as the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maternity Hospital Society, American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. Dr. Bernhard’s special areas of interest are prenatal diagnosis, obstetric ultrasound, and gynecologic ultrasound.
