Dr. Marianne Gelter specializes in interventional pain medicine at Ochsner Health Center - Kenner. She is a New Orleans native and a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy. She received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University. She received her medical degree from Midwestern University in Arizona where she served as the president of her medical school class. She completed her residency in anesthesiology at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. Following residency, she went on to complete her subspecialty training in pain management at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She specializes in the use of interventional techniques for the management of chronic pain conditions.
