Biography
Marie’s clinical focus includes comprehensive risk assessment, preventive care planning and early detection strategies tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
As a nurse practitioner in the high-risk clinic, Marie plays an important role in bridging the gap in oncology and genetics care. She works closely with oncologists, surgeons, genetic counselors and other specialists to deliver a comprehensive evaluation and seamless coordination of care between departments. Patients benefit from her role as a consistent point of communication across the care team, helping connect them with the right resources for cancer prevention and ongoing surveillance.
Marie earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge. She holds board certification as a family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of work, Marie enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, traveling as a family and keeping up with their two doodles. She loves reading, trying new restaurants and making memories with friends and family.
