Mary Thompson, MN, CRNA, practices anesthesiology as a certified registered nurse anesthetist at Ochsner Health. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of New Orleans, where she focused on a pre-nursing curriculum. Mary went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans in 2000. She spent over four years as an registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. She completed the Master of Nursing concentrating in Nurse Anesthetist program at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in 2007. She is certified by the National Board of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists. Additionally, Mary is a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Anesthesiology.
