Biography
Dr. Maxime Savard completed his undergraduate degree from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Savard earned his medical degree in 2006 from Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences. He completed a residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at South Miami Hospital in Florida.
Dr. Savard began practicing at Ochsner Health Center in 2012 and currently works out of Ochsner Health Center - Kenner, Suite 500. He is board certified in foot and hindfoot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery with a special interest in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery including trauma, limb salvage, and sports medicine.

Dr. Savard is very detailed and caring!
Dr Savard was kind, patient, and understanding. He explained everything in terms that I could understand, and she answered all my questions. He continually checked in with me to see how I was doing and make sure I was OK. After the surgery he made sure I was comfortable and had the medication I needed. He explained everything that was done the surgery and the reasons for it. He explained to me what to expect, and what I needed to do to make a good recovery. He let me know I can contact him with any questions I have. He put me at ease and helped me to relax.
