Biography
Meghana Pattipati, MD, specializes in endocrinology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Pattipati is board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and sleep medicine. She completed her internal medicine residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. She then completed fellowships in sleep medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at Harbor - UCLA Medical Center.
She specializes in complex diabetes management, thyroid disorders and cancer, adrenal and pituitary conditions, lipid and metabolic disorders, obesity and bone health. She also performs thyroid FNA and Testopel insertion. Dr. Pattipati brings a holistic, patient-centered approach to care and is now accepting new patients and referrals for endocrine and sleep-related conditions.
Fluent in Telugu and conversational in Hindi, Dr. Pattipati values connecting with a diverse patient population. She is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Association of Clinical Endocrinology and the Endocrine Society. Outside of medicine, she enjoys family time and outdoor activities.
