Molly McRae, NP

Molly McRae, RN, MSN, FNP-BC practices obsterics and gynecology at Ochsner Health in Baton Rouge. She earned her undergraduate baccalaureate degree in nursing from Louisiana State University and has worked in various nursing settings such as the emergency room and the post anesthesia care unit. She then went on to pursue her Master of Science in Nursing with a family nurse practitioner focus at the Unviersity of South Louisiana in Lafayette, Louisiana, graduating in 1999. Upon graduating she worked directly in general surgery and then moved into family practice. With a desire to do womens health, she became a member of the Ochsner staff in 2004 in the OB/GYN department. She is a member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and National Women's Health Association.

Let me tell you, I love coming to see my OB/GYN. She listens to me and Is genuinely concerned about my health. This is the first time I had my exam since COVID but I'm glad I found time to come in and get it done.

Felt like for it being a 1st appt. with my teenaged daughter, things could've been explained slightly better about her options over medication. However, we truly liked our visit.
