Olawunmi Akinsilo, MD, MS, MPH, practices occupational medicine at Ochsner Health. Dr. Akinsilo has expertise in occupational injuries and illnesses and medical surveillance, offering comprehensive care for various occupationally-related medical needs.

Dr. Akinsilo earned her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, East Caribbean, in 2020; and her master of public health degree concurrently with her residency from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City in 2023. She is board-certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in 2024.

Dr. Akinsilo is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while ensuring that they can continue to function at a productive level at home and work. She has a keen interest in ensuring that patients leave their visit with a better understanding of their health. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2023.
