William Blalock, MD

Dr. Blalock received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 1996. He went on to complete his internship at LSU in New Orleans. After internship, Dr. Blalock completed two years of clinical and anatomic pathology before completing an Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 2001. Dr. Blalock is board certified by the ABIM in both Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2002. Dr. Blalock cares for a broad range of general medical problems in the hospitalized patient. Dr. Blalock enjoys hiking and traveling to foreign countries in his free time. He speaks English, Spanish and French.
