Biography
Dr. Rafael Cortes is a board certified Family Medicine physician. He provides primary medical care ranging from pediatric to adult patients, specializing in geriatric patients. Dr. Cortes is a graduate of the LSU Family Medicine Residency program where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed his fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at LSU. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from medical school at St. John the Baptist School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Dr. Cortes is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr.Rafael Cortés es certificado por la Academia de Médicina de Familia;en Médicina Familiar y Geriátrica.Proporciona atención médica primaria desde pacientes pediatricos hasta adultos de la tercera edad(pacientes geriátricos).Dr.Cortés es graduado del programa de residencia de LSU en Médicina de Familia donde se desempeño como Jefe de Residentes.También completó su subespecialidad Geriátrica en LSU.Se graduó Magna Cum Laude de la Escuela de Médicina San Juan Bautista en Puerto Rico.Dr.Cortés es bilingüe en Inglés y Español.Haga una cita llamando al 504-443-9500.
