Ralph Millett, MD, is a hematologist and medical oncologist at Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center who treats patients in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. His research and clinical focus is thoracic medical oncology.
Dr. Millett earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. where he was selected to serve an extra year as chief resident. He completed his Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta, where he served as chief fellow in his final year. During his fellowship, he received an ASCO Conquer Cancer Young Investigator Award for his work on potentiating the effects of immunotherapy in lung cancer.
Dr. Millett is a member of American Medical Association, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer , and the American Society of Hematology. He is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.
