Biography
Dr. Marier earned his medical degree from Yale University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from Tulane Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Disease and Medical Management. He serves as a Diplomat for the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Marier served as the Dean of the LSU Medical School in New Orleans from 1996 to 2002 and is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine and Public Health, at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He is the Executive Director of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Marier joined Ochsner in 2006.
