Biography

Saket Singh, MD, specializes in cardiac surgery at Ochsner Health. Dr. Singh has expertise in adult cardiac surgery, offering comprehensive open surgical and endovascular care for various cardiac disorders including structural cardiac disease (valvular repair and replacement), myocardial revascularization, surgical therapies for heart failure and aortic aneurysm surgeries.

Dr. Singh earned his degree in cardiothoracic surgery from Yale University School of Medicine. He has completed a Heart Transplantation and Mechanical Circulatory Support fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Singh has also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery at prestigious Greenlane Cardiothoracic Unit of Auckland City Hospital in New Zealand. Dr. Singh has served as a faculty in cardiothoracic Surgery in a tertiary teaching hospital in New Delhi, India. Dr. Singh is a member of Society of Thoracic Surgeons.

Dr. Singh is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of their patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, he enjoys learning about the pioneers of cardiac surgery and teaching medical students and surgical trainees.
