Biography

Sana Riaz, MD, practices advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Riaz has expertise in managing patients with advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation and cardiomyopathies, particularly hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and amyloidosis.

Dr. Riaz is board-certified in cardiology by American Board of Internal Medicine. She completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure and transplant at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center/Texas Heart Institute.
