Dr. Sarah Breaux practices movement disorders neurology at Ochsner Health. She earned her medical doctorate (MD) from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center where she graduated cum laude. She received her bachelors degree from LSU, where she also graduated cum laude and completed her residency and fellowship program at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.Dr. Breaux, a Lockport, Louisiana native, is fellowship-trained in movement disorders. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease, parkinsonism, essential tremor, Huntington's disease, dystonia and ataxia. She also treats patients with stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, neuropathy and Alzheimers disease.Dr. Breaux is available to do consultations for consideration of deep brain stimulation for Parkinsons and Essential tremor in Raceland, Louisiana and New Orleans.
