Biography
Dr. Wickman earned his Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from the Jackson School of Geological Sciences in 2010 and Business Foundations from the McCombs School of Business in 2012, both at the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Texas A&M University in 2016. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana, in 2020. In 2022, he completed his Fellowship and Chief Fellowship in Nephrology at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his training in Kidney Transplant at Ochsner Health in New Orleans in 2023. Dr. Wickman actively participates in the American Society of Nephrology and American Society of Transplantation to stay updated on medical advancements.
Dr. Wickman is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of his patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. He has been practicing at Ochsner since 2023. Outside of medicine, he enjoys raising his daughter, loving his wife, and strives for continual self-learning and improvement.
