Dr. Troy Drewitz received his undergraduate degree from Loyola University in New Orleans. He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Shreveport. Following medical school, he completed his internship and residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Wichita. He completed his fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wesley Medical Center. Dr. Drewitz is a board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2011. He has practiced medicine professionally since 2003. Dr. Drewitzs expertise is in obstetrics and gynecology. He specializes in minimally invasive surgery. He also lectures at the University of Queensland, Ochsner Clinical School.
