Varsha Gusman, PA-C specializes in the Neuro Critical Care Unit at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans and is certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants. She served as the lead PA in this department for five years. She also serves as the founding Program Director of Xavier University of Louisiana Physician Assistant Program in Partnership with Ochsner Health. A Xavier University alumna, Gusman earned a Bachelors degree in biology and a Masters degree in the physician assistant program at Our Lady of the Lake College. She will oversee the degree approval process, plan and develop an accredited curriculum and serve as a classroom instructor, mentor, and advisor to students.
