Biography
Dr. Case earned her doctorate in medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi in 2019. She is double board certified in emergency medicine and emergency medical services by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She completed both her emergency medicine residency training and emergency medical services fellowship training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi in 2022 and 2023, respectively. Dr. Case actively participates in the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP) to stay updated on medical advancements.
Dr. Case is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Her special research interest through the NAEMSP has been in identifying and reducing disparities in the care of historically underserved populations in the prehospital setting. She is a fierce advocate for the unique needs of non English-speaking patients and LGBTQ+ patients. She has been practicing at Ochsner since 2025. Outside of medicine, she enjoys writing and performing music, outdoor cooking and building elaborate princess castles with her daughter.
