Biography

W. David Sumrall, MD, practices anesthesiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Sumrall earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, while he completed his internship and residency at Ochsner Clinic Foundation. He has been on staff at Ochsner since 2004, and he is board-certified in anesthesiology. Dr. Sumrall is the medical director of the Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans Operating Room, associate medical director of Surgical Services, system chairman of the Anesthesiology Department, and chair of the Medical Advisory Committee.
