When you child is an Ochsner patient, you can use MyOchsner, a secure online tool that will connect you to your child’s physicians, healthcare team, and secure medical records. Using the convenient MyOchsner website or app, you can:

My experience was very good for my son’s first appointment there. We were seen by a few nurses that were very nice and also Dr. Phillips! He is such a sweet guy and a wonderful Doctor, he really seems like he’s great with babies and kids. I highly recommend Ochsner Health Center for Children! Thank y’all so much for your care.

My son is only 2 months old & had a few heart problems at birth. They kept him in the NICU for 5 days at SFMH. I further followed up with Dr. Phillips 2 months later. I’m not going to lie, I thought it would be a long boring wait with a dr that didn’t really explain things well but BOY WAS I WRONG. I LOVE DR. BRANDON PHILIPS!! LIKE SERIOUSLY!! i waited probably 2 minutes before being called back, the nurse was gentle and settled us in well and Dr. Philips was SO NICE AND GENTLE! He pulled out a graph of the heart and explained to me all of the worry areas of the heart and what the issues were. We have another follow up coming soon for an echo. He said most of the time these things resolve on their own but wants to make sure. which most drs don’t do so i really love that!! I really can’t wait for the next appointment because this one was so great lol.

We had a great experience at our visit yesterday. Dr. King saw my daughter as a work-in because she had been to ER the night before with chest pain post Covid. The ECHO tech was wonderful with her. He explained a lot of things about the heart to her and made a 14 year old very comfortable in what could be an awkward situation for her. Everyone was great!
