  • 24/7 emergency room: Our emergency department is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, with qualified hospitalists and nurse practitioners to handle any medical emergency.
  • Bone Services tests: We provide advanced screening to assess bone health and diagnose osteoporosis.
  • Cardiac monitoring: Continuous monitoring of heart activity for patients requiring close observation.
  • Case management: Our team coordinates your care to ensure a seamless and effective treatment journey.
  • Diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound): We use state-of-the-art technology, including CT scans, MRIs and general radiology, for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for adults, children and newborns.

  • Wound care: Specialized care is available every Thursday for diabetic ulcers, circulatory wounds and other chronic conditions to promote healing and prevent complications. 

If you need a prescription refill, please call your pharmacy to request it. If your pharmacist has any questions, they will contact Ochsner. Make sure the pharmacy sends your refill request to Ochsner at least three to five working days before you run out of your medication. If we don't get the notice in time, we can't promise your refill will be ready before you use up your current supply.
