Biography
Bethany Bowden, NP, specializes in diabetes management at Ochsner Health. She received both her bachelor of science degree in nursing and her master of science degree in family nurse practitioner studies from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans. She completed clinical rotations in pediatrics, women’s health, family medicine and endocrinology. Prior to joining the Ochsner, Bethany practiced as a nurse practitioner caring for endocrinology patients in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area. Bethany is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education. She actively participates in the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners to stay updated on medical advancements.
Bethany is dedicated to addressing the medical needs of her patients while understanding individual concerns and goals. Outside of medicine, she enjoys gardening and cooking.
