Dr. Cristina Graphia completed her undergraduate education at Rice University, graduating with degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology. She then went on to complete her medical degree and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. During training, she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, a medical society recognizing high educational achievement.
Dr. Graphia subsequently went on to complete a Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery Fellowship at the University of Chicago. Dr. Graphia is a Baton Rouge native and graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy; she is thankful to be in her hometown serving her community.
Dr. Graphia specializes in the treatment of both chronic and traumatic conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. Her surgical interests include carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, fractures, ligament injuries, tendon injuries, nerve injuries, masses, Dupuytren’s contracture, and arthritis. She is accepting new patients at Ochsner Medical Complex - The Grove and Ochsner Health Center - Gonzales.
