George Mayhall, MD, practices diagnostic radiology at Ochsner Health. Dr. Mayhall earned his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed his internship and diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Tennessee/Methodist Healthcare in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Emory University in Atlanta. His clinical interests include abdominal imaging and emergency radiology. Dr. Mayhall enjoys working with residents and was voted Emergency Radiology Staff Teacher of the Year in 2024 by radiology residents. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, and American Roentgen Ray Society. He is board-certified in diagnostic radiology and has been on the Ochsner staff since 2017.
