Kacey Wuertz, DNP, specializes in intensive care at Ochsner Health in New Orleans. Kacey received a doctorate of nursing practice from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. Before obtaining his doctorate, he worked as a critical care registered nurse at Ochsner Medical Center- New Orleans for eight years. Kacey is certified as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as a critical care registered nurse by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Additionally, Kacey is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners. Kacey also serves as faculty for both undergraduate and graduate nursing at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in New Orleans.
