Biography
Katherine Ponder Bergeron, who goes by Katey, was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and her Physician’s Assistant degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over 10 years of experience as a Physician’s Assistant and has worked in specialties such as Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Katey's approach to patient care is to treat each individual as though they were a member of her own family.

She took care of my problems.
Even though I had taken grandchild to her Primary doctor and he said he couldn't find anything wrong, but my granddaughter was still having symptoms I scheduled ENT appt to find out it was viral. And Dr Bergeron told me what I could do to help. I feel like everyone felt I was over reacting and my grandchild was faking. For me this was very hurtful. My grandchild has been suffering much and I didn't know what was wrong so I took her to the doctor and then to another doctor.
Dr. BERGERON WAS EXCELLENT AND ALL I HOPED FOR.

Get rushed and scheduled for another appt 2 weeks away for vertigo that keeps me from doing my job after spending 3-5 minutes with a provider
