Katherine Ponder Bergeron, who goes by Katey, was born and raised in Baton Rouge. She received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and her Physician’s Assistant degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has over 10 years of experience as a Physician’s Assistant and has worked in specialties such as Pediatric Intensive Care, Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Katey's approach to patient care is to treat each individual as though they were a member of her own family.
