Dr. Haydel received her undergraduate degree from LSU School of Nursing in New Orleans and her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Following this she completed her internship and residency at the University of Pittsburgh. She complete her teaching fellowship in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Haydel is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and has been practicing medicine since 1993. Dr. Haydel’s expertise is in Emergency Medicine and has previously served in prior roles as Professor of Medicine and Director of Faculty and Resident Education for the LSU Department of Emergency Medicine.
