Biography

Dr. Stephen Johnson practices radiology at Ochsner Health. He received a doctor of medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internal medicine internship and diagnostic radiology residency at Ochsner Medical Center - New Orleans. Additionally, he finished a body imaging fellowship at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Johnson is board-certified by the American Board of Radiologists and has been on staff at Ochsner since 2015. His focus is on abdominal imaging including ultrasound, CT, and MRI, and he serves as section head of the ultrasound department. He is a member of and serves on committees for the American College of Radiology and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound.
